Filtec is a family company founded in 1993 in Badia Polesine, a strategic location in Northern Italy, a place characterized by flourishing industry and historically devoted to work.
The over 28 years task is to design, develop and customize high performance and high reliability cutting and filtering sys- tems. Filtec produces every type of pelletizer i.e. Underwater, Water Ring and Dry Cut. The wide range of quality products includes vertical and horizontal centrifuges, screen changers, vented vibrating screens and water filters.
Technology and Innovation are the pillars on which Filtec builds its market proposal. Its high-quality products are designed in synergy with the most complex requirements. Filtec is the right partner to choose to develop projects and to turn innovative ideas into real applications.
In order to stay competitive in a fast-changing market, Filtec has adopted new instruments. A new CRM software at dispos- al of the Filtec team allowing a better organization of both sales, after sales and purchases. Moreover, the Technical dept. has adopted a new PDM software that connects the product code to the relevant experience in the creation of 3D designs. Last, but not least, Filtec is part of industry 4.0 and the
machines produced are equipped with a remote-control sys- tem that gives the possibility to check the machine in every moment.
Filtec plays an active role in the plastics recycling field. Thanks to Filtec pelletizing systems, the waste comes back into pel- lets, and it can be re-introduced in the productive chain. All the customers using Filtec machines for recycling polyolefins (such as PP, HDPE and LDPE) have obtained very good results both with Water Ring and Underwater systems. Some of them during the year even shifting the pelletizing systems, improv- ing the characteristics of their granules and always choosing Filtec.
Moreover, in order to actively promote the importance of the plastics recycling, Filtec together with three Italian companies, has decided to create the project “Are You R” (www.areyour.org/en). The letter R stands for recycle, reuse, reduce and all those words related to the world of plastic recy- cling. Indeed, this programme aims to increase public aware- ness of the environment and the knowledge of the benefits associated to the recycling of plastic materials.
